Events. When you participate as an athlete, fan, spectator, sponsor, vendor, visitor or otherwise register, participate, compete, sponsor, or submit results, feedback or information for any of our online courses, certificate courses, competitions, events, seminars or other activities (“Event,” collectively “Events”), we may record your submissions, records and results. This Personal Data may include without limitation, first and last name, age, hometown, gym name or affiliation, personal record lifts, workout results, training and competition history, and nutrition information, as well as your results in the events, audio and video files, photographs, workout plans, workout, health and nutrition data, logs and journals, stories written by users, and other information.

Information Use and Disclosure

  1. Internal Use. We use your Personal Data to process your order and provide you with customer service. We may also use your Personal Data internally to improve the Sites’ content and layout, to improve outreach, and for our own marketing efforts, including marketing our services and products to you. We may also use your Personal Data to determine general marketplace information about visitors to the Site. In order to facilitate such use and the other use described in this Section 2, we may share your information with affiliates under Defined Athletics’ control or with whom we have a services contract to the extent outlined in such contract and line with the privacy practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.

These records and media may be used for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to: evaluating your performance; determining your eligibility for prizes, overall placement, and leaderboard status; and creating athlete, team and sponsor profiles on the Site, among other things. The privacy and security of your Personal Data are extremely important to us. As such, we have implemented numerous security measures designed to keep your Personal Data secure. Defined Athletics use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your Personal Data online, and we also take several steps to protect your Personal Data in our facilities. Access to your Personal Data is restricted strictly to employees who need access to your Personal Data to perform a specific job. For example, an employee may require access to your full name, e-mail address, phone number, shipping address, and other information in order to fulfill your order. You are also responsible for any access to or use of the Site by you or any person or entity using your username and password. You may cancel your account with Defined Athletics on the Site at any time. However, as long as your account is active on the Site, you assume all responsibility to control the dissemination and use of your password and control access to and use of your account.

Should you become aware of any unauthorized use of your username or password, you agree to immediately notify Defined Athletics at In order to prevent such unauthorized access, you also agree to exit from your account at the end of each session. We may provide paid products and/or services on the Site and may use third-party services for payment processing (“Payment Processors”). The Site does not store or collect your payment card details.
